Sooke Family Resource Society provides a Family Preservation and Reunification Program is designed to stabilize families, improve their parenting skills, increase their ability to provide a safe home; and provide opportunities for children in the care of MCFD to remain connected to their family and community.

The program has three specific services:

  • Family Development- supports families whose children have been removed from their homes with a plan for reunification;
  • Family Preservation- supports families whose children are at risk of being removed;
  • Supervised Access- provides opportunities for children in the care of MCFD with opportunities to remain connected to their family and community.

This program is only available with a referral by a Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) Social Worker.
